5 Steps to Amazing
Today I would like to share 5 Simple steps for how you can create a better you, how you can create more of the life you want, - and how you can bring that forth. These tips were shared with me, and now they are my gift to you.
It is easy to remember because it is as simple as 1, 2, 3, 4, 5. I use my fingers to remind myself. Think of them as your awareness tools, as I do, every day ….. Don’t let the simplicity fool you. Because when you use them consistently “Amazing things will start to happen.”
Say it with me, “Amazing Things will start to happen”.
#1 – Thumbs Up
I recognize that you have a choice about what I am going to bring to this day and if I don’t pay attention I might have thumbs down day. I have a choice about my attitude. No one can choose my attitude There is nothing wrong with this day. This is a brand new day, it is a gift! But I must have thumbs up attitude to life. I must have a thumbs up mind, a thumbs up willingness, and openness to the moment I am in.
The way you practice it is Thumbs up - in Gratitude. Say “I am grateful for this day. Put your thumb up in gratitude. You have a choice everyday make it a thumbs up day.
If you have a thumbs up attitude, “Amazing things will start to happen.”
#2 – Point your way down your day.
You get to set your intention by your attention. What are you focusing on, what you are about on this day. Are you about confidence? Are you about accomplishing? Are you about learning? What is the most important thing that you want to be about today? You get to point your way down your day. Great lives don’t happen unless one day at a time people make decisions. So make a decision about today to bring forth the greatness in you. But it is not going to happen to you. You must bring it forth through you.
If you have a thumbs up attitude and you point your way down the day, “Amazing things will start to happen.”
#3 – Flip Fear in the Face
It is a way to remember that you are going to have some fear, some doubt….of course you and everyone does, we live in a land of polarity. So every time you have a dream, everything unlike that dream will pop up. All the circumstances in your life will argue and come up and the why you don’t think you can be, do, have, give. Why you can’t and at the same time there is that in you that is more than the circumstances you are facing.
Einstein said, the current problems you face cannot be solved on the same level of thinking that created them. But there is another level of thinking where the answers live.
We won’t find the answers by paying attention to our fears. We won’t find them by paying attention to our doubts. We find answers by flipping fear in the face. If you have some fear, befriend it, flip it to the side, to the back seat, don’t allow it in the driver’s seat of your life. What fear can you flip aside today.
If you have a thumbs up attitude and you point your way down the day, you flip fear, “Amazing things will start to happen.”
#4 – March Forth in your life – take action.
Every time you have a good attitude and point your way, you look fear in the face you have to take an action step, if you do not take an action step nothing will change, nothing will really shift, it will stay in the land of inspiration or imagination or in the land of someday I am going to. But you don’t want that, you want to be in the land of “I’
am, I have, I give…in the land of your life. That happens through sequential, repetitive action steps…
If you have a thumbs up attitude and you point your way down the day, you flip fear a way, you march forth “Amazing things will start to happen.”
#5 – The little Things
The little finger to remember the little things, the little things you might miss if you don’t pay attention. The feel of the sun on our face, the breeze on your skin, the smile of a child, the feeling of love if you pay attention, a moment of silence. An inspiration, a friend, loved one. Remember the little things, in the little things is complete magic, in the little things is the feeling of depth and promise, in the little things you will find you.
If you have a thumbs up attitude and you point your way down the day, you flip fear away, you march forth, and you remember the little things, then “Amazing things will start to happen.”
When you consistently take these 5 simple steps, use your fingers as a daily reminder, you cannot help but create a Better You, and create more of the life you want, “Amazing things will start to happen.”
